Dutch Rabbit

The Dutch rabbit, easily identifiable by its characteristic colour pattern, was once the most popular of all rabbit breeds.The Dutch rabbit is a fairly small compact rabbit, with ears that stand erect and powerful back legs that are longer than the front legs. The Dutch rabbit is always white with the addition of another base color.

Dutch rabbits can live for up to 8 years if properly cared for with some many reaching well into the 10 to 13yr range, especially if they are neutered or spade. By providing a clean home, fresh water, and the proper nutrition your rabbit should live a long and healthy life. Dutch rabbit are suitable as a pet for children over 10 years but any child should have constant adult supervision when dealing with the rabbit.
